FAQ
Questions we are asked.
Short answers. If yours isn't here, write to us; it will probably end up on this page.
What is Pricify?
Pricify is a pricing and supply dataset for computer hardware: prices, store-level availability and market events for graphics cards, processors, memory, storage and power supplies in United States retail.
Who uses it?
Teams that buy, sell or plan around hardware: OEMs and system integrators, retailers and distributors, brands and manufacturers, investors and analysts, and procurement and IT teams.
Where does the data come from?
From publicly listed prices and availability: what any shopper can see, online and for individual stores. Nothing behind a login, and nothing private. We share the list of sources under a non-disclosure agreement.
How current is it?
Observation is continuous, and every data point carries the UTC time it was observed, so you always know how fresh a value is rather than taking our word for it.
Does the dataset contain personal data?
No. It describes products, prices and shelves. It contains no information about shoppers, accounts or purchases.
How is the data delivered?
By arrangement: API access and event webhooks, scheduled bulk exports in CSV or Parquet, or delivery to your warehouse or cloud storage.
Can we see a sample first?
Yes. Tell us the segment, the products or the question you have in mind, and we will send a sample that answers it. The live signals page is a public sample of the event stream.
Can we get only the products we care about?
Yes. Engagements are scoped: a segment, a competitor set, a list of part numbers, a group of metros.
Which markets do you cover?
United States retail today, online and in store. If you need another market, tell us which; it shapes what we build next.
Is forecasting available?
Not yet. It is in development with a small group of design partners. Price and availability data, history and events are available today; the scarcity index is in early access.
How is it priced?
Per engagement, by scope and delivery. There is no public price list. A conversation about what you need is the fastest way to a number.
How do the public trackers relate to Pricify?
Pricify runs a family of consumer price trackers on the same observations. They put the data in front of buyers every day, which keeps it honest. The dataset behind them is what Pricify licenses.
Still have a question?
Ask it. The answer is usually a sample of the data.
